Process flow
Scenario 1 - Using i-Comm in A Fully Automated Enclave

1. When a visitor reaches a community’s lobby, he/she can use the i-Comm to video call the unit owner, the pre-registered visitors can scan their QR code instead.
2. The unit owner will receive this video call on the i-Neighbour App installed on his/her smartphone.
3. At the same time, the unit owner can view the video stream captured by the tablet’s front camera to approve the visitor.
4. If the unit owner approved the visitor, the video all will be terminated instantly. For a community that requires extra layer of security, i-Comm panel can be embedded with TimeTec OCR for visitors to show their IC/Driver’s license/Passport for record purposes.
5. Upon confirmation, the tablet will send a command to the designated BLE-2 to trigger unlock door function. If the door is not opened, the visitor can also touch the screen to retry within 30 seconds.
6. i-Comm will notify the visitor to snap a photo of the QR Code displayed onscreen or the QR ID to be used for exit later on. This step can be ignored if the condominium equips the pathway with an exit push button.
7. Otherwise when exiting the lobby, visitors should scan the QR code or key in the QR ID on the i-Comm exit tablet panel to be allowed out.
Scenario 2 - Using i-Comm in A Partially Automated Enclave that has been Integrated With i-Vizit Guardhouse Panel

1. When a visitor reaches a guardhouse, he or she can use the i-Comm to video call the unit owner while the pre-registered visitors can scan their QR code. For a drive-in visitor, he/she will be shown a tablet installed with i-Comm App by the guard in which he/she can proceed to video call the unit owner. Please note that visitors may be required to handover their Driver’s license/ID card/Passport to the guard for record purposes.
2. The unit owner will receive this video call on the i-Neighbour App installed on his/her smartphone.
3. At the same time, the unit owner can view the video stream captured by the tablet’s front camera to approve the visitor.
4. Upon confirmation, the visitor has to place his/her driver’s License/ID Card/Passport on the designated slot for i-Comm panel/kiosk to record the data via OCR or handover his/her driver’s License/ID Card/Passport to the guard for scanning.
5. Once the relevant information i.e. visitor’s info and unit being visited, has been captured, the data will be displayed on the guardhouse panel for the guard on duty to check-in the visitor.
Note: For drive-in visitors, the guard has to return the visitor’s credential and the visitor needs to return the i-Comm tablet before the visitor can be checked-in.
6. i-Comm can be integrated with TimeTec BLE-2 for barrier gate access to ease the check-in process for drive-in visitors.
