i-Neighbour Smart Lock System is implemented to tighten the normally loose and scattered community access control system into a well-monitored and fully integrated system. With this, comes TimeTec BLE-2 and various Smart Lock/Smart Reader (ML-10B, TL-40B, DL-30B, SL-70B, H2b) IoT devices that can be integrated into i-Neighbour Smart Community System for residents within the neighbourhood to unlock doors using just their smartphone via Bluetooth connection. | ||||

Before carrying out to setup TimeTec BLE-2 into i-Neighbour, please be informed that this setup can only be done in the Web Portal and by the Admins.

Once done, the added BLE-2 device will then be included in the overview for the Admins to further edit its settings or access groups. In the Access Group tab, Admins can first include a pre-set schedule on when the supposed users within this group can access TimeTec BLE-2. Hence, clicking on the Add Access Group button will bring up a popup whereby Admins can specify the amount of time whereby the device will remain accessible to the included users. | ||||
Please fill in the necessary fields and click on Save to establish the Access Group | ||||
Once done, the Access Group will be available in the overview for the Admins to edit or remove by clicking on the respective icons located at the right. | ||||
Next, Admins can also proceed to edit the settings for each individual device under the TimeTec BLE-2 tab by clicking on the Edit icon located at the right. | ||||
In the settings page, Admins can choose to view or edit the respective lock details. To edit the TimeTec BLE-2 device, please click on the Edit button. Note that details such as Hardware Name, Type and Serial No. cannot be edited and will follow the information as inputted earlier while adding the device. On the other hand, Admins can specify or change the information such as Device Location, whether it is installed in a facility or to enable/disable the device. Click on the Save icon located at the top right once the changes has been completed. | ||||
Next, Admins can proceed to provide the access rights for users to access the devices via the Access Rights tab. In it, Admins can click on the various roles within the neighbourhood to provide the necessary access to the devices. After clicking the roles, please click on the Edit icon at the top right to proceed to the Access Rights Edit page for that particular user. | ||||
Once Allow Access is enabled, Admins are then able to specify the types of access for the selected lock such as Access Group or Approved Facility Booking. By selecting Access Group, the TimeTec BLE-2 will adhere to the access time schedule as established earlier in the Access Group tab. As for Approved Facility Booking, users can only access the devices when they book the facility in which the devices are installed on. Hence, Admins can specify whether or not to allow users to gain early access of the devices. | ||||

Similar with TimeTec BLE-2, the setup for the Smart Lock/Smart Reader Series can only be done in the Web Portal and by the Admins. Note the Smart Lock Series will have to be setup in TimeTec Security first before it can be added into i-Neighbour. For the purpose of convenience and practicality, please note that this feature of unlocking the IoT devices can only be done on the user’s smartphone only with Bluetooth connection enabled.

Once done, admins/residents will be provided with a list of devices in which they are authorized to access. Next, walk up to the supposed entrance and proceed to tap on the Lock icon located at the right of the respective device. i-Neighbour App will then begin scanning for the device in order to unlock it. | ||||
To indicate that the device is unlocked, the Lock icon will then be displayed in green and will revert back to grey when the device is locked again.

Tapping on Smart Access will in turn bring up the list of locks in which the users are able to access. That said, please tap on the Unlock icon to access the locks. When unlocked, the icon will be displayed in green and will revert back to grey when the device is locked again. | ||||
